If you're looking for a secure mount for your 50 to 60 mm Stellarvue finderscope that attaches directly to one of the telescope's hinged rings, then you're in the right place. This set of 2x 11/16-inch internal diameter rings will work with 50 to 60 mm Stellarvue finder scopes, or any other model which will fit the dimensions. The quick release dovetail base was designed for Stellarvue optical tube rings: R80, R102, R4, R5, R6 and R7 - but are also compatible to any set of scope rings that are about 1-inch wide and has a center hole on top threaded foe either a 6 mm or 1/4"-20 screw. Simply place your finderscope in the ring assembly, and collimate with the non-marring nylon-tipped stainless steel screws and you're good to go! When the observing evening is over, just use the quick release dovetail mount and the ring assembly will keep your collimation until the next observing session.
